EGYPT, c.1000 BC. A limestone "Daric" weight in the form of a reclining duck with its head on its back. L: 23 mm., 8.13 gm. Cp. Petrie #2415 a hematite weight. This limestone and the next lot were both found in the Fetor region of Egypt. VF and rare. See also Kisch, 'Scales and Weights', p.95 lower two examples.
