ROME, c. early fourth century AD. A rare weight in molded glass for an uncia (32.21 gm), It features a quadriga facing forward, with outer horses shown in profile. Charioteer with right hand held aloft and holding scepter in left. Fine and important. Ex Frank Linville collection, lot 64 in Malter Auction 39 held in April, 1989. This is an exceptionally large piece of molded glass to have survived. Rare!
