ENGLAND, c. 1850, a set of six stacked brass weights. The 2 lb. and the 4 lb. weights are marked: AVERY Ltd. The smallest weight is 1 oz, the largest is 4 lbs. Each weight neatly stacks leaving the margin which is raised on each weight. Used in British post offices. Ex November 7, 1999 Malter Auction.
