China, c.1650-1750, a very rare all silver steelyard scale complete with silver rectangular weight which is hall-marked on four sides. The silver pan is scalloped around the rim and has three side by side hall-marks in the center of the pan which has three silver linked chains to suspend the pan from the beam. L: of beam 21 cm, D: of pan 4.5 cm. A delightful scale.
