A Swiss musical box by Langdorff & Son, late 19th century, the mechanism playing eight airs via a 10 3/4 inch pinned cylinder and steel comb, beneath a glazed inner cover flanked by change / repeat and start / stop levers opposing the winding crank, the part-ebonized case with marquetry inlay to the lid, 52cm wide (comb with one broken tooth); together with a coromandel workbox, with a fitted interior, (2).
