FRAMED SEWING POCKET. Dated 1828. Wool twill background with dark red silk ribbon binding. Crewel embroidery in pinks and tans consists of long tailed birds, flowers, urn, star and crown. Silk ribbon is fraying. One slit in bottom pocket and minor damage in others. 4"w. 21"l. In modern frame 8 1/2" w. 25"h.
