Description

Antique Steiff mohair lion on cast iron wheels. The button in the ear, (Knopf Im Ohr in German) indicates that this lion was made in Germany between 1925 and 1935. Good to fair condition. Losses to mohair. This piece has a growler, but it is currently not functional. Tail is partially separated from the body, and also has a break in the lower 3" of the tail. Excellent candidate for professional restoration, as this piece appears complete. Original glass eyes. Measures approximately 14" x 17"
