(NAPOLEON BONAPARTE) (1769-1821) The "Little Corporal" whose brilliance in the field of battle and as Emperor of France has made him perhaps the most important figure of post-Renaissance Europe. A lot of four Napoleon related items, includes: HORACE FRANCOIS SEBASTIANI (1772-1851), French general who distinguished himself in the Russian Campaign and at Leipzig; A.L.S. "Horace Sebastiani", 1p. 8vo., [n.p., n.d.], in French to a colleague, making an appointment; PIERRE GARRAU, L.S. on Revolutionary letterhead of the Army of Italy, 1p. folio, March 30, 1796 [?], a letter from Garrau as the Payer General, regarding funds; L.S. by an unknown individual signed "J.G. Soire", 2pp. 8vo., on Conseil d'Etat letterhead to Jerome Bonaparte, Paris, Jan. 8, 1801 [?], petitioning him on behalf of another individual; and a partly-printed D.S., 1p. folio, May 21, 1806, an Imperial Guard certifying M. Masuryev as a foot soldier. All four items are tipped at left edges to another sheet. Overall very good condition, should be viewed. $150-200
