Fine 1830 Empire breakfront cabinet, solid and matched flame mahogany, 8't, possibly Baltimore, signed on bottom 1834, set back ovolo center drawer and bevel front drawers over four paneled doors with large ovolo moldings, full turned columns with acanthus carved and ionic capitols, classical turned ball feet, diamond and geometric pattern twenty pane double doors, molded mullions, tall flared crown, 1/2" under 8', 62"w 22"d interior of top 8"d, 67"w at top of crest, this item was purchased in Ashville, NC. Good original finish/condition, four original adjustable shelves, six replaced panes, later brass pulls/escutcheons, restoration to top of crest on left side.
