Byzantine Empire, Class D anonymous follis attributed to the time of Constantine IX, 1042 - 1055 AD. Constantinople Mint. 8.18g. Seated figure of Christ enthroned. / Inscription. S.1836; DO. pp.685-7. Nice aVF and struck on a broad flan, undertype visible to one edge of the obverse. A very attractive example.
