National Mechanical Bank (4180-A). J & E Stevens Co., Designed by Henry W. Prouty, Patented 8/5/1873. "Place a coin on the ledge of the door and push the doorbell; the door quickly revolves, slinging the coin into the bank. The man (from behind the window of the door) quickly slides to the right in order to get out of the way of the action. To reset, move the door to its original position." Crack at the rear roof ridge. From the collection of Bob Brady. Cast Iron and Paper. (Near Mint).
