Description
This antique Native American bow is a unique piece of history, with origins in the Plains and a tribal affiliation to the Sioux/Lakota people. The handmade bow features green and vermillion paint on the inside and is crafted with a sewn raw hide handle. The artisan who made this bow is unknown, adding to its mystery and intrigue. It is a great addition to any collection of Native American items or historical artifacts.
Condition
The bow is an excellent condition. There's still lot of paint to be seen although it is faded. The Rawhide handle is in good condition as well and is sinew sewn. There is some cracking in the wood on the back of the bow but that is in accordance with age. Please view photos they are part of the description.
