Description
This, as you could imagine was painted during the confinement, as the lack of fresh air was becoming a serious heavy burden. I love going for a walk in the forest and picking mushrooms. It is a french passion! So The restrictions was hard felt the best way I could cope with, was to paint it. Feeling that way the forest, with it crisp air, beautiful smell and the array of colours. The bird at the top was a symbol of freedom Ten years ago, I enrolled in an art group, I could only attend occasionally as my time was divided between France, England and families commitments but it was good to learn the basics. 2020, I started to exhibit my art work with the Dorset 2020 art society, Fareham Art Group and Bursledon Art Society. 2021 +2022 I enter the Luxembourg art society competition and received a certificate of merit twice. May 2022 and Oct 23: I was accepted by Hampshire cultural society, to have my first solo exhibition at the Allen gallery, Alton and The Gosport Museum I have extended my work to other of topics and enrolled on a course on portrait with Mike Skidmore. He gave me the best compliments and encouragements I could hope for. i decided to enter the professional market only 2 years ago and came to terms with selling my paintings. 59 50 Artwork Signed UK Locks Heath 2022
