Zhu Ming (Chinese, b. 1938), a bronze figure from the artist's Tai Chi series, 1986. His Tai Chi series is a group of blocky, humanoid forms performing stances from the martial art Tai Chinese This version was presented to Su Nan-Cheng, the Mayor of Kaohsiung, a municipality in Taiwan. The piece is presented on a wooden base with an inscribed brass plate on the side. Marked on foot: 58/3, artist signature, 86.
