Truck, 1927 Model T Ford. This truck is a great example of a nearly 100 year old survivor. It came into the Gethmann family in 1955. Bought from a man in Green Mountain, IA, Doug remembers that day well because at 10 years old he got to drive his Dad's pickup home. He followed Dad back home, while Dad drove their Model T Ford Truck. "I was hot stuff! " said Doug. Dad owned and drove the Model T until his death in 2009 at 95 years old. Ford made around 75,000 trucks in '27. The Depression and WWII took a lot of them out of circulation. This truck looks great, with old repainted red paint over repainted blue paint. It's believed to be all original and in good "Model T" running condition. A great show car to show what a genuine survivor is supposed to look like. Has title. Ford Factory # 734-3450.
