Vintage Italian Murano Venetian hand painted Clear Glass Decanter & 6 Wine glass Murano Hand painted Carafe & 6 Wine by Barbini MURANO Venice Italy Clear Glass Decanter Set with 6 Wine Glasses Embellished technique the Corrosione, in which the outer layer of the glass object was covered in gold powder . This item was brought back from Venice in 2005 and never used. Looks brand new. Hand made by Barbini Workshop Alfredo Barbini dies Feruary 13, 2007.The flower designs are hand painted enamel with raised surfaces. The stems of the wine glass is a thick twisted ribbon of solid glass. Height of decanter: 13 inches Diameter of decanter: 4 1/2 inches Height of wine glass: 6.25 inches x Diameter 3 inches Weight of 6 cups: 2 lbs. 6 oz. Weight of decanter: 1 lb. 11 oz. The Moro family whose mark is on the carafe is well known.
