An early 19th century French table cover, the central panel of green silk decorated with an intricate design of flowers and leaves worked in metallic thread, with infilled embroidery, surrounded by a deep border decorated with a design of raised embroidered motifs and flowers, edged with green velvet overlaid with finely worked metallic thread, and bordered with silk tassels and metal fringing, 195cm x 195cm (considerable damage to the silk, but the border and passementerie in generally good condition).
