Railroad Clock From Bristol,Va. Train Station

Railroad weight driven clock from Bristol train station. This clock was sold years ago from the estate of Mrs. B J Forbes in Bristol and formerly Mayo of Bristol Edward Deaton. The Gilbert wall clock was used in the train station from the time the station was rebuilt after the Civil War in 1866 until 1890. 8 day movement. The former notes are from the estate. Clock needs to be restrung and cleaned. We have placed a cord to hold the weight but it is not hooked up correctly. 49" x 13" x 6.5"
