Overall condition very good, with no repairs, tears, punctures, etc. Original untouched condition. Ex-collection Indianopolis Museum of Art, Indianopolis, Indiana. This large Van Ryder work is closely related to his painting "Desert Moonrise, after the Rain" which sold for $6,000 (including premium) at Doyle New York, May 23, 2006, lot 1304.
