ANCIENT BAN CHIANG PAINTED POTTERY JAR Ancient Ban Chiang (Northern Thailand) Neolithic Period 1000-500 B.C. pottery jar of globular form with a wide flaring mouth and rounded bottom, the body painted with linked spirals. Pottery was purchased in the early 80's from Erawan Antiques in Bangkok Thailand. Great example of the red painted pottery techniques used by early villagers of that period. Overall very good condition with age appropriate wear. Size: 5.125"
