ANCIENT BAN CHIANG PAINTED FOOTED VESSEL Ancient Ban Chiang (Northern Thailand) Neolithic Period 1000-500 B.C. footed pottery vessel of globular form with flared rim and painted linear scrolling motifs. Pottery was purchased in the early 80's from Erawan Antiques in Bangkok Thailand. Great example of the red painted pottery techniques used by early villagers of that period. Overall good condition with age appropriate wear and chip to base and bowl. Size: 9"
