(2) ANCIENT BAN CHIANG BLACKWARE POTTERY JARS Ancient Ban Chiang (Northern Thailand) Neolithic Period 1000-500 B.C. early period blackware footed pottery jar and bowl. Blackware of globular form with flared rim and incised linear scrolling motifs and small bowl with rounded bottom and flared mouth. Pottery was purchased in the early 80's from Erawan Antiques in Bangkok Thailand. Great example of the early blackware pottery techniques used by early villagers of that period. Overall good condition with age appropriate wear and small loss to inside of rounded bowl. Size: 7", 4"
