Description
A naval ensign, he was awarded the LŽgion d'honneur at the age of 24. In 1920, he retired to the Carmelite convent and took his vows the following year. In 1939, he returned to the army. He was taken prisoner, escaped and joined de Gaulle in London. He took part in several negotiations in Africa and the USA. He was proconsul in Indochina and in 1958 he retired permanently to the Carmelite monastery.Photograph signed Signed printed photograph applied to cardboard in-16 and dated Saigon, 18.10.1946 to Paul Langer.
