A Pole born in Russia, at the age of 9 he began studying piano and harmony with Rimsky Korsakov. He studied law in Saint Petersburg. In 1910 he played in Paris. He set up a travelling theatre with C.- F. Ramuz. In 1940, he moved to Los Angeles. He became a French citizen and then an American citizen.Signed printed photograph applied to cardboard in-8.
