A finely painted porcelain plaque by Henry Mitchell depicting cattle in a wooded landscape, signed and dated 1894, depicting Limousin and Charolais cattle with a wooded landscape beyond within an oval mount and ebonised frame, plaque measures 12" x 8", oval painting measures 9.5" x 7.5" Footnote: Bearing paper label to the reverse "From the collection of the late J.C. Bailey Esq" Mitchell was recorded working for Doulton from 1891 to 1908 and exhibited his works widely.
