Jane White Cooke (American, 1913-2011), Seated Nude, Oil On Canvas Board. Jane White Cooke was a student of the National Academy of Design, and was awarded a fellowship to study painting in Florence in the 1930s. She would later marry journalist Alistair Cook. Two of her works (those of Nathan Milstein and Alistair Cooke) are in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C.
