A fine and heavy 18k gold pair-cased watch with beautiful varicoloured dial by the famous Liverpool maker Robert Roskell. Both cases have matching Chester hallmarks for 1816, the back of the outer case is engraved with the coronet of an English Viscount. The fusée movement features the distinctive large jewelling known as ‘Liverpool Windows’, a large bimetallic compensation curb and diamond endstone to the balance cock.
