An early 19th century inlaid mahogany wheel barometer with timepieceAdamson & Co., London, circa 1820Having a 10-inch main dial reading from 28 to 31 inches with remarks, engraved sunburst to centre, within brass bazel and convex glazing, the ebony and boxwood-strung trunk with swan-neck pediment and urn finial over ethanol Fahrenheit thermometer with engraved silvered scale, timepiece with white-enamelled convex dial and spade hands, and a spirit level with silvered backing engraved "Adamson & Co London", 44.5", (113cm) high.
Condition
Missing adjusting knob. Possibility that pediment is later - no file marks to swan neck. Tight dark crack to top of trunk. Otherwise good.
