Manner of Hubert Robert (French, 1733-1808), "Architectural Landscape”, “View of a park”, oil on canvas, overall standing 82 inches tall. This oversized oil painting is in incredible condition for its age. It has been estimated to be from Late 18th / Early 19th Century, acquired from Atlanta, GA. It appears to be unsigned, and has “FRANCE” written on the reverse of the canvas and stretcher. Age is very evident to anyone that knows what to look for. I personally feel it’s 1850-1860’s. Very minor blemish on the lower left canvas surface near the fountain, and the canvas could use a Re-Tacting on the top stretcher.
