This button was a Concert Button that was sold during the last year that Elvis Presley was on tour. Elvis Presley was on tour much of the first part of 1977 from February to June. Elvis's final concert was on June 26, 1977 in Indianapolis. A few day prior to the Indianapolis concert - Elvis Presley was in concert at Pershing Auditorium in Lincoln, Nebraska and this button was purchased at that concert. After the Indianapolis concert Elvis return to Memphis to rest and to get ready for another tour that was to start in the fall. But, before the second leg of the tour started, Elvis Presley passed away on August 16, 1977. Thus, this button is a souvenir that was sold at one of his last concerts. The button is dated 1977 and was put out by Boxcar Enterprises, Inc. The button shows Elvis in one of his white concert outfits and the top of the button says, LOVE ME TENDER. The button is considered a 3 inch button. Great piece of memorabilia from the King of Rock and Roll.
Condition reportThe button has been well preserved and is extremely clean. Excellent shape.
