Pendule Retour d'Égypte en bronze de Adam Léchopié, un sujet semblable pour une pendule contemporaine "Mère allaitant l'enfant" de Bazile-Charles Le Roy, horloger de la famille de Napoléon I.
Griffons dorés portant le lit, putti jouant dans une frise décorative autour du cadran aux chiffres romains, base en marbre veiné vert de mer soutenue par des pieds sabots.
Signature "Léchopié à Paris" sur le cadran.

Bronze Retour d'Égypte clock by Adam Léchopié, a similar subject for a contemporary “Mère allaitant l'enfant” clock by Bazile-Charles Le Roy, clockmaker to the family of Napoleon I.
Gilded sphinxes carrying the bed, putti playing in a decorative frieze around the dial with Roman numerals, sea green veined marble base supported by sabot feet.
Signed ‘Léchopié à Paris’ on the dial.
