Crimea 1854-56, three bars alma, inkermann, sebastopol (Bt. Major H.D. Neville 1st.Battn Royals) engraved naming. Turkish Crimea, Sardinian issue. Contact marks to first otherwise very fine.

***Sold with Turkish Certificate to Brevet Major Henry Draper Neville, 1st Regiment, death certificate dated October 8 1860 giving Neville as aged 46, photograph of grave showing details written on headstone (erected by Lt.Col. Anderson and the Officers of the 2nd Battn. 22nd Regt.) and handwritten service details. Neville died in London hardly a month after his release from Malta on sick leave, resulting from the disease contracted in the trenches before Sebastopol.
