Description
A pair of Japanese Bronze ( Karakane ) Usubata ( Broad -Rimmed Vases) in the manner of Narikiyo Toshimasa , each in four sections and with silver Nunome Zogan (inlay). The broad rimmed opening with silver nunome zogan depicting: a headdress, scrolls, basketwork etc. One central urn has a figure sat on flying dragon to one side and figure seated within an interior to the other, surmounted to either side with separate cast peony tree handles, the other with seated Sage writing in an interior and the obverse with figure on horseback with copper and silver nunome zogan. The whole profusely inlaid with silver dot and line decoration, depicting birds, water etc.
