George Lawrence, (1758-1802) Half length portrait of a lady in a white dress Pastel, oval, 56 x 43cm (22 x 17") Signed and dated 1789, inscribed No. 35 Frederick Street, Dublin Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. Michael Wynne George Lawrence studied at Dublin Society School, 1771 and worked under F.R. West and J. Mannin. He exhibited at the Dublin Society of Artists from 1774.
