Joshua Neustein was born in 1940 in Danzig. As a child Neustein wandered in Siberia, Uzbekistan, returned to Poland and then to Austria. In 1951 he traveled to New York, where he studied in a Yeshiva and attended art studies at the Pratt Institute in New York. Prizes: in 1970 he won the Erest Prize for Painting and Sculpture, Jerusalem. Neustein have been participating in many exhibitions in U.S.A., in England and in Israel. His works are in prominent private and public art collections. Since 1979 he has been living in New York.
