Description
This cast iron Tetsubin is used in the Japanese tea ceremony for boiling and pouring hot water for drinking purposes, such as for making tea. It is marked under the trivet that translates to read "Iwachu Nambu Cast Ironware". The Tetsubin has a copper lid, inside the lid marked "made in taizando". Kettle Size: 8.5" H x 7.5" W x 6.5" D, with trivet: Height 11".
