John Hoppner, RA (1758-1810), 'The Young Angler', watercolour, signed, 21.5" x 16" Though principally a highly successful portrait painter, Hoppner also produced a number of landscape studies influenced by Gainsborough, either in pastel or brown wash during the 1770's.
