A thirty hour posted longcase clock movement and dial, circa 1740, the outside countwheel striking movement with rectangular section posts and anchor escapement, the 10 inch square brass dial with recessed arched nameplate inscribed 'Giles Coates, Chedworth' to the ho-ho bird decorated matted centre within an applied Roman numeral chapter ring with fluer de lys half hour markers, the angles with urn and scroll cast spandrels.
