An eight day longcase clock movement and dial, circa 1710, the five pillar rack striking movement with 12 inch square brass dial with subsidiary seconds dial, foliate engraved calendar aperture and ringed winding holes to the matted centre, within an applied Roman numeral chapter ring with stylised sword hilt half hour markers and Arabic five minutes, with twin cherub and crown cast spandrels to angles and herringbone engraved border to edge, lacking hands and bell. NB: James Webb is recorded in Moore, A J 'The Clockmakers of Bristol 1650-1900' as working 1685-1717.
