A Welsh inlaid oak eight day longcase clock, circa 1830, the four pillar rack and bell striking movement with white painted 14 inch Roman numeral break-arch dial with subsidiary seconds dial, arched calendar aperture and signed 'Jon'n Hughes, Bala' to centre, the spandrels polychrome floral painted beneath scene of boy playing a tamborine to arch, the swan neck pedimented case with fluted pilasters to hood, above short shaped top door flanked by quarter columns to trunk, on shaped panel inlaid plinth base, 236cm high.
