A French gilt brass combination carriage timepiece/aneroid barometer, late 19th century, the eight day timepiece movement probably by the Couaillet family with platform lever escapement and white Arabic numeral chapter ring within a gilt foliate scroll cast mask, set beside an aneroid barometer with conforming dial, and a Fahrenheit thermometer between, the case with reeded three-quarter pilasters to angles, blind fret frieze and apron, and T-shaped carrying handle, the top set with a compass above the barometer, 16.5cm wide, with original tooled leather covered carrying case.
