A French electroplated brass eight-day mantel timepiece, late 19th century, with platform lever escapement and gilt foliate cast brass dial with Roman numeral cartouche numerals and inscribed 'J. Hall & Co.', the circular case with scroll pierced crest and moulded surround applied with lion mask ring handles, on four outswept paw feet with female mask to apron, 28cm high.
