A fine model of the Bristol pilot cutter 'Benson', a wooden fully rigged working model of 'plank on frame' construction. The cutter was built from plans and dimentions taken from the original half block model owned by the Bristol Museum. Masts, rigging and sails fitted with deck items and traditional built rowing boat. Length 117cm. Width 25cm. Keel to mast head 106cm.
