A 2 inch scale Clayton undertype steam wagon, built by Mr E.L.Bryant, the silver soldered copper boiler with centre fueling shute and fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety valve, injector, clack and blowdown valves. Engine details include twin cylinders with enclosed valve gear and cranks, ratchet operated lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass with single speed chain drive to rear axle. Chassis details include worm and quadrant operated Ackerman steering, simulated rubber tyred wheels with wooden spokes and brass hubs, rear axle differential unit, water tank fitted under rear flat bed with hand feed pump, channel section chassis frame and working leaf springs. The model finished in green and red paintwork with brass edging. Total length 101cm. Past boiler history. Southern Federation of Model Engineering Societies boiler test certificate No.6838. Expired the 24th of May 2002.
