Late Dynastic, Dynasty XXVI - XXX, 664 - 343 BC. A nice bronze menat with heads of Shu and Tefnut. Missing lower portion, some loss to head-dress of Tefnut, and looped at back for suspension. H: 2 5/8". The menat was a counterweight for large, heavy necklace. Often referred to as a counterpoise. Fairly scarce.
