A beige floral patterned linen robe, worn by Katharine Hepburn in her co-starring role as Amanda Bonner in the 1949 comedy Adam's Rib. Created by renowned costume designer Walter Plunkett. Accompanied by a green velvet rope with tassels and in fine condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: This 1949 MGM film features Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy as husband and wife lawyers on opposite sides of an attempted murder case. Ruth Gordon and Garson Kanin were both nominated for an Academy Award.
