An off-white wrap-around suit vest, worn by Peter Lorre as Pepi the piano playet in the 1942 comedy All Through The Night. An official Warner Brothers Pictures wardrobe tag on the inside lining reads: "Date: 8-8-42, Prod. 344, Name: Peter Lorre." In fine condition. This costume piece is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: "Killer Bogart takes the Gestapo for a ride" in the 1942 Warner Brothers film "All Through the Night". In this highly entertaining story line gangsters help to track down fifth columnists in World War II New York. The cast is heavy with greats such as Humphrey Bogart, Conrad Veidt, Peter Lorre, Karen Verne, Judith Anderson, Jane Darwell, Frank McHugh, Jackie Gleason, William Demarest and Phil Silvers.
