Loretta Young Dress - Bedtime Story (1941)

A ruby red velvet gown with a matching red velvet belt, worn by Loretta Young in her starring role as Jane Drake in the 1941 comedy Bedtime Story. In excellent condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: In 1942 Columbia Pictures introduced "Bedtime Story" in which a playwrite's wife wants to retire instead of acting in his next play. A pleasant comedy with good performances. The line up includes Fredric March, Loretta Young, Robert Benchley, Allison Joslyn, Eve Arden and other talent.
