James Franciscus Outfit - Beneath Planet Apes

From the continuation of the sci-fi classic Planet of the Apes (1968), presented here is a brown skin outfit that was worn by James Franciscus in his starring role as Brent in Beneath The Planet of the Apes. Created by costume designer Morton Haack, this brittle costume features four connectable sections with a distinct waist wrap-around and a pair of shoes. The fabric is stiff and very brittle, but appears to be in overall very condition. This costume is from the prestigious collection of Debbie Reynolds and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Debbie Reynolds and Darren Julien of Julien Entertainment. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Motion Picture Museum.
About The Film: James Franciscus and Charlton Heston star in a 1969 sequel titled "Beneath the Planet of the Apes". Astronauts on the ape planet discover that it is really Earth and the subterranean human mutants are nursing a live atom bomb.
