The Big Sky, a Howard Hawks film, starring Kirk Douglas. Features an impressive image of an enraged Douglas with wielding a tomahawk. Original 1952 1-sheet, 27 x 41. Linen backed and in fine condition.
About The Film: Another Kirk Douglas classic, "The Big Sky" also starred Arthur Hunnicutt, Elizabeth Threatt and Dewey Martin. In 1830 two Kentucky mountain men join an exploration up the Missouri and become preoccupied with Indian trouble. The 1952 release gave Russell Harlan and Arthur Hunnicutt academy Award nominations.
